Hey there everyone and welcome to a Get To Know post. In case you’re new, I’ve started a Get To Know series as a way of getting to know my fellow bloggers but also to help spread other bloggers out there so that we can all be one happy big community. Today our special guest is Leah.

Nickname(s): I don’t have a set nickname, but people at school tend to call me silly names like Mini Trimmer and Trim-trimmer
Occupation: Student
Nationality: British
Country Currently Living In: United Kingdom

Let’s Get A Little Personal

Favorites:
Favorite scent? I don’t have one
Favorite time of day? Evening, when my family all sit together and have a laugh
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? Mexico, the wildlife there is amazing and the people are incredibly friendly  
Favorite piece of advice someone has given you? Don’t be afraid to step out and do something different
Favorite film? Ocean’s Eleven, the soundtrack is amazing 
Favorite quote? “Hasta la Vista baby” (from Terminator 2)
Favorite book? I don’t think I have one, I love reading but I always find it hard to find books that really interest me from start to finish.
This or That:
Summer or winter? I think I like both equally
Tea or coffee? Tea, I only drink coffee when I am incredibly tried 
Wild night out or cozy night in? Cosy night in 
TV shows or films? Films, I can never commit to watching a Tv show the whole way through
Magazines or books? books 
Traveling far or traveling to near by places? Travelling far, I love to see other parts of the world
Ocean or lake? Ocean, especially when the sea is warm

When did you start your blog? about a month ago
Why did you start your blog? I’ve always liked the idea of starting a blog and I needed to create a portfolio in preparation for my University application 
Do you have a blogging schedule? No, I like to write when inspired because it’s when I produce my best content
What are your hobbies? I play the guitar and have recently started painting again
How do you like to spend a Sunday afternoon? Relaxing with my family sometimes baking or watching a movie.
What is your ideal day off? Out in London sight seeing with friends

Let’s Get A Deeper Connection

What advice would you give your younger self? Don’t worry about what you think other people are thinking about you, their opinions of you do not matter and also don’t be so afraid to step out of your comfort zone.
What are your life goals? To become a successful radio presenter and journalist
How would you describe yourself? Loud, very talkative, eccentric, lively and opinionated 
How would your friends describe you? Loud, a little crazy, and very over the top
What is the best decision you have ever made? Saying “yes” more, it opened lots of doors for me
What is your greatest accomplishment? Playing In the Barbican with the London Symphony Orchestra  
Leah, thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to complete this interview. I absolutely loved the advice you were given, it’s incredible and I think more people need to be reminded of that. I also really loved your favorite quote because it was so unexpected and it made me giggle; not to mention how wonderful it is that you’re saying yes more because it really does open more doors.
