Quotes To Live By 024

It’s back!!! I haven’t done a Quotes To Live By post in ages! Since I know that many people do enjoy quotes in general and do enjoy this series, I decided to bring it back! As always, I will share some quotes with you, share my take on them and hope that you share your own take on them in the comment section below.

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.”

I love this quote because it’s so true. Think about it, how much have you grown after you went through a hard situation? You probably grew a lot, you probably learned a lot about yourself and proved to yourself how strong you can actually be. This quote can also apply to workouts because if a workout is just meh and you don’t challenge your body than you can’t expect to see any results or progress.

“You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.”

Yes! Yes! Yes! Stop focusing on the past. How are you suppose to move on? How are you suppose to go onto bigger and better things in life if you are constantly focused on what has happened. Move on. Move onto the greater things that are to come.

“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”

I agree both figuratively and literally. Figuratively speaking, when you struggle through something whether it’s life in general or school or work, the hardship eventually leads to something far better than the struggle itself. Similarly, I think that this applies to hikes because I know how hard a hike can be and I know how many times I’ve wanted to give up on a hike because my legs were killing me and my feet were bleeding but at the same time, I knew that if I kept going my view wold be well worth the pain. Keep going, keep powering through because in the end everything will be worth it and gorgeous.

  1. I definitely relate to this one “You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.”

I have a little anxiety and sometimes things get on top of me, so I always try to remember things like that quote to move on and only worry about what I can control

  2. Wow…..totally true. The thing that finally pushed me to carry out my blogging adventures was a serious injury to my head, neck and back! Last summer fell on the cement of an amusement park. Dazed but thought I could just carry on, proceeded to go on many rides and ultimately large roller coasters. Apparently I had a concussion from the fall and didn’t realize it……resulting in serious whiplash injuries from the rides. I had MONTHS of recovery (like a motorcycle accident) that finally lit a fire in me to do something (art/diy blogging) that I have always thought about doing but never had the courage. You are right this challenging situation changed me to not fear or care anymore. I started blogging in February:) I love your words…..very inspirational!!!! Moving forward to a different exciting chapter was the best thing every 🙂 Thanks for reminding me!!!!

  3. These are great!
I can identify with them all as applying to me over the past year…I think the most important is that you’ve got to let go and move on to be able to achieve your potential and most importantly your happiness xx
