Quotes to Live By 005

A good quote can really change your outlook on life itself. Today I will be sharing some quotes with you and my outlook on them. You can feel free to put your own inputs in the comment section below or you can even share with me your favorite quote.

“If you really want to do something you’ll find a way, if you don’t you’ll find an excuse.” – Jim Robin

Now isn’t that the truth! I connect this quote greatly to working out. Personally I go through phases where I am so into working out that I actually really really look forward to it after a day of work. With that being said, some days I want to workout, I do because I want to see results, but at the same time I really have no energy to do so. Sometimes I look for excuses like “oh it’s gloomy out,” or “I worked out really hard yesterday I don’t have to do it again today.” All these are excuses for not doing something I should be doing.

“Great things never came from comfort zones.” – Unknown

The only way to accomplish something magnificent that no one has ever done is to do something that requires you to step out of your little circle of comfort. We often times get into routines of things we like to do, things we are comfortable doing that we forget the importance of stepping out and discovering new things.

“The biggest mistake you’ll ever make is letting people stay in your life for longer than they deserve” – Unknown

I agree with this completely! I read a book my freshman year of college that was titled “Life at Performance Level;” this book itself taught me the importance of letting go of people that don’t serve you a purpose, don’t help you grow but instead bring you down. You should never keep anyone in your life that is bringing you down or attempting to steal the light of your own show.
