I’m thankful all year round and I often reflect on what I am thankful for however, with Thanksgiving right around the corner (like tomorrow); I figured I would share with you all what it is I am thankful for.
The Roof Over My Head:
I know that there are plenty of people out there living on the streets or in shelters because they either cannot afford a home or they have recently lost their home due to a natural disaster. I am so fortunate to not be one of those people. I’ve had a roof over my head all my life and I can only hope that I continue to live having a home to keep me warm and safe.
The Opportunity to Fulfill My Dream:
I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I stepped foot into a preschool and here I am today completing my internship and being one step closer to becoming the teacher I’ve always wanted to be.
Life:
I am living, what more can I be thankful for than that alone? I am alive, I get to experience life and all that it has to offer.
My Travels:
Thus far, this has been the year of traveling. I’ve been to Lake Placid, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Nashville, and Miami. I’ve discovered new places, explored new land and for that I cannot be thankful enough. If you know me, you know I love to travel; I love seeing new places so the fact that I had the opportunities to do so much in one year is truly amazing. In the past years I’ve also been to Boston, Lake George, Portugal, Spain, North Carolina, New York, and Pennsylvania. I wonder what is ahead, what other places I’m going to go to.
My Family:
In this section I include not only my immediate family but my boyfriend and friends too who have all become family to me. They are there for me when times are rough and remind me constantly that I am strong and I can get through anything. It hasn’t been the easiest year, mentally, but I have found the courage within me because I’ve had such a supportive family around me.
God:
For helping me during my darkest moments.
All Of You:
Who constantly bring me up and show me support. This year I’ve been especially lucky to grow such a massive wonderful and caring audience. You’ve all shown my posts so much love and so much support. You’ve followed me, you’ve liked my posts, you’ve commented on my writing and some of you go as far as sharing my blog. I thank you, you’re all amazing and I am beyond thankful to have all of you in my life.
What are you thankful for? Let me know in the comment section below.

A beautiful post, Bea. I try and remind myself regularly of how grateful I am for all the blessings in my life. I just wish there could be more equality in the world and no one had to go hungry or be without a home.
