Benefits of Working Out

It’s not everyday that we want to workout and that is completely fine. It’s okay to take rest days, sometimes even a couple of rest days, perhaps a rest week if you really need it. Although it’s important to listen to our body’s and relax when we need it, it’s also very important to workout because there are many health benefits other than just looking fit. Below I’ve added a list of benefits of working out in hopes that it encourages you all to get up and get moving!

  • Reduces stress and anxiety
  • Reduces PMS
  • Strengthens your heart
  • Boosts creativity
  • Strengthens bones
  • Improves self-esteem
  • Helps you get a better nights sleep
  • Blasts bad fat
  •  Improves your mood
  • Strengthens your memory
  • Recharges you
  • Reduces blood pressure
  • Improves breathing
  • Builds muscle


Who wouldn’t want to get up and get moving after learning about all of the benefits of getting in a good workout?! Below I’ve listened some workouts that you all may want to consider doing right this very minute! Come on! Let’s get up and get active!

  • Pick your workout or workoutS for today and repeat them as needed
  • Make sure you always drink plenty of water
  • Stretching is your best friend
  • Push yourself but know your limit

  1. Heading to the gym now! Feels so much better getting it done early. Once it becomes habit it gives me a little anxiety if I don’t get to the gym. 🙂

  2. Also good if you have mild arthritis. Low impact repetitive joint motion eases the pain. My tip is to take some funny/interesting podcasts with you to listen to or if possible watch a quiz show while your cycling – exercise your brain as well as your brawn.
