Simple Questions:

What places have you traveled to?
Uhm.. a few. My father took me on a big trip when I was just 14 to Canada, Los Angeles, Thailand, and France. In 2007, I travelled to New Zealand for 3 weeks. In 2008, I went on a family trip to Vietnam, Thailand and Laos. In 2010, I visited Fiji with Rhett. In 2012, I went on a cruise to the South Pacific Islands which included Mystery Island, New Caledonia, Noumea, etc. In 2013, I did a Europe trip to Switzerland, Germany, Italy, London, Scotland and France. And since most of my relatives are still based in Cambodia, I usually visit every 2 to 3 years. And of course, I have also been to some wildly beautiful places here in Australia. 🙂
Which place could you revisit an endless amount of time?
Probably Scotland. I thought that place was utterly magical.
What other countries or cities are you interested in going to?
Oh. Uhm. Absolutely everywhere. But to name a few: Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Spain ..pretty much all of Southern Europe. Finland and Iceland would be phenomenal. But essentially, anywhere.

Do you have any pets? If so, how many and what are their names?
Yes! I am so glad you asked! Haha. I cater to two high maintenance felines: a Russian Blue named Winter and a Munchkin named Blue.

When did you start blogging?
February 4th, 2017
Why did you start blogging?
By the end of 2016, I came to the stark realisation that I had spent the last 2 years working full-time, watching Netflix and wasting money on sh*t that I didn’t even need (excuse the language). So at the start of 2017, I forced myself to make a change and to find a hobby that I could invest my spare time and energy into. And since I was already a regular consumer of Blogs, and Instagram, and YouTube, creating my own space just felt natural. I have been blogging for 5 months now and I can honestly say: no regrets.

Let’s Get a Deeper Connection:

What advice would you give your younger self?
Haha. I would probably chastise myself to stop wasting money on useless, random crap and to stop trying to please everybody and anybody.  But in terms of advice. I would probably tell the younger Linda to believe in herself and to find the courage to be the person that she dreamed to be.
What advice would you give the younger generation?
Be kind to one another. It costs nothing and can make a difference to somebody’s day.
What do you feel when you know you are about to travel somewhere new?
Out-of-this-world excited with a sliver of nervousness at the idea of losing my baggage. Haha.
In your opinion, what is the best thing about traveling?
Getting to see and appreciate life through a different lens. And not having to go to work. LOL.
Are their any life changing quotes you’ve encountered?
Uhm.. maybe this one:
“Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work, driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying off, in order to get to a job that you need so you can pay for the clothes, car and the house that you leave empty all day in order to afford to live in it.” – Ellen Goodman
It’s a bit controversial – but this quote really resonates with me.
A massive massive thank you to Linda who seems to travel the world, so super jealous by the way. Linda, thank you for taking the time out of your day to fill out this interview and for sharing your wonderful advice, quotes and travels with all of us.

    1. When I go to your blog it says that your website has been deleted? Is that true or is WordPress just acting up?! I would be more than happy to interview you and I could always translate for the English readers!
