Monday Motivation 040

The very first Monday of the month calls for an extra special and intense workout! This month we are going to be using Lucy Wyndham-Read’s Youtube channel for our workouts, more specifically we will be using her May Challenge videos. Even though it’s June.

  • Rest day.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Progress PhotosI’ve  never personally done this but I do want to try. Take a photo at the beginning of the month and then another at the end, keep doing this so that you can keep track of your progress.
  • Water is your best friend, especially when it comes to HIIT workouts
  • Repeat workouts as necessary, especially if you want to burn a bit more calories.
  • Stretching is great to prevent injury so make sure you stretch before and after a workout!

  1. I’m going to have to check out that YouTube channel. I usually do work out videos from the XHIT YouTube channel but I’m always looking for new ones. I’m also trying the progress photos! I’m not sure why the concept is so intimidating even if they are only seen by me but I’m determined to start.

    1. I too have never done progress photos but I think it will help, especially when you’re feeling down about yourself and perhaps think that you have made no progress, looking back may really help perk us up! I’ll definitely be starting to do that. I hope you do check out Lucy because I really love her workouts, they’re so quick but very intense too! Thanks for coming by! 😀

  2. Progress photos help SO much! I’m actually going to be posting about my fitness journey tomorrow… this seems like a good workout regimen that you’ve posted!

  3. Water is so important always! A few years ago I started making a conscious effort to drink more water and it made working out so much better and recovery so much faster. Thank you for including water and stretching in your tips and tricks. They are both vital to a good exercise regimen and so often overlooked.
