Hello there everyone! Today I want to check in with everyone’s New Year Resolutions. So….how have you been doing? Have you been keeping up with them? Are you slacking a bit? It’s understandable if you aren’t doing all that great, it’s hard, I know, but it’s important to not give up. You’ve chosen your resolutions for a reason, you want to make a positive change in your life so why on earth would you give up on that? I want you to let me know how your resolutions are going in the comment section below, also leave any tips that may be helping you out through your resolutions. Below is how I’m doing on my own resolutions.
Healthy eating 5 days a week:
Uhmmm, definitely slacking on this one if I’m honest. I keep having cheat meals throughout the week like the occasional pizza, burger or fries; I’m okay with having this on the weekends, however, I really want to aim for healthy eating 5 days a week. Since I’ve realized I struggled so much with this in January, I’m going to start making a meal plan calendar therefore I’ll have all my healthy meals written out and I’ll be more tempted to stick to them.
Photography:
I am actually pleased to say that I have gotten out my camera several times to snap some photos. Overall, I’m definitely a work in progress but I’m excited to learn more about my camera and get the perfect snaps.
Travel more:
Can’t really say I’ve traveled to new places quite yet this year, however I am saving up. I’ve recently been taking simple trips like trips to Hoboken to view the waterfront and have some lunch.
Don’t forget to let me know how you’re doing in the comment section below!

No, no I just made a resolution that I would eat healthy 5 days a week, meaning no pizza, no chips none of that and I’ve been slacking quite a bit!

You’re the best! This is like a kick in my preverbial butt. I had five resolutions. Two of them I’m suckin’ poo at. The is scheduling actual “reading” time…or, I won’t do it. Well, scheduled for next week now. Now, to make it happen. Second, is mealing planning. With having my kids part time, I need to meal plan better. So, I created a spreadsheet that will assist me in doing that. Willalso start this for this weekend, when I have them.
Again, you’re the best…my backside thanks you. 🙂

I love the whole idea of being as positive as possible! It’s so difficult sometimes to be positive and not beat ourselves up over every little thing that goes wrong! I wish you the best of luck in maintaining a healthy and positive mindset! I also want to wish you the best of luck in the blogging world, may you gain many readers and have many creative thoughts! Thanks for coming by 🙂

I’m definitely struggling too! My tip I use that for sure works is to always pack healthy for lunch when I go to work. This forces me to eat veggies and fruit more! I also try not to buy any chips or anything that would be tempting to have to snack on while just lounging around the house, although, sometimes chips are exactly what I want ! Haha I’ve been struggling too, I definitely need to work on it, I’ll keep you updated !

I’m definitely slacking on exercising every week but I can say that I made such a progress on being more kind! But I’m working on organising myself a bit more and finding the time I need to exercise again 🙂

Best of luck with the exercising ! Try to do even like a four minute HIIT workout, may not seem like a lot but it’s better than nothing !
