“Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we’re here, we should dance.” —Anonymous

Obviously, life has its struggles; life has its moments of ups and downs and all arounds. Yes, I just said all arounds, it went with what the flow of the ups and downs thing I had going on. Anyway, although we may encounter all these hardships, struggles, arguments and whatever else gets in the way of a fun party; we should dance anyway because why not? Would you really rather sulk in pity over everything that goes wrong or would you rather smile, laugh it off and dance away the worries? Dancing seems like a much better way to go through life in comparison to sulking. Enjoy life, dance while you can and make life the party you did hope it would be.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”—Aristotle

You want greatness? You want excellence? Then put in all the effort it takes to be great, no, to be excellent. The more you work to be excellent, the easier it becomes to be excellent. Build the habit of being your best and you’ll always put your best out there.

“Plant your garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.” —Jose Luis Borges

This is a lot like saying that happiness comes from within, which indeed it does. We don’t always need to rely on others to be the best version of ourselves. We can find satisfaction from within, we can work our way and grow our own happiness and our own way of being.

  1. One of my favorites is, “What is perfection anyway? It’s the death of creativity – that’s what I think – while change, on the other hand, is the cornerstone of new ideas.” – Diane Keaton
