Monday Motivation 022

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! Yes, today is my 23rd birthday and even though it may be my birthday, that is no excuse for not working out. Follow me in this weeks workouts.

Warm up:

  • 20 jumping jacks
  • 10 squats
  • 20 jump ropes (it’s okay if you don’t have an actual jump rope, just pretend)
  • 15 high knees


Today Monday January 30, 2017

  • Warm up
  • Part 1: 
    – 15 push ups (can be modified with knees on ground)
    -20 squats
    -30 second elbow plank
    – 20 lunges (1o each leg)
    – 10 crunches
    – 10 leg rasies
    REPEAT 5 TIMES (4 times if you are a beginner). Take a break in between sets to catch your breath if needed.
  • Part 2: 
    – Set clock for 1 minute and do as many crunches as possible
    – Set clock for 1 minute and do as many squats as possible

Wednesday February 1, 2017 

  • Warm up
  • Part 1:
    – 15 Russian twists (weighted for advanced)
    -30 kettlebell windmill (15 each side)
    – 30 second plank
    – 60 second side plank (30 seconds each side)
    – 20 bicycle crunches
    – 15 regular crunches
    – 30 second high knees
    REPEAT 3 times. Take a break in between sets to catch your breath if needed.
  • Part 2:
    – 20 second star jumps
    – 40 second donkey kicks (20 seconds each leg)
    – 20 jump squats
    Repeat 4 times. Take breaks as needed.

  • Always remember to drink plenty of water
  • If you’re into protein bars, they’re very helpful for recovery after a workout
  • Fruits and vegetables are your best friend for a fitter, healthier, leaner body
  • Stretching your body can prevent not only injury but intense soreness
