Winter Essentials

Brrrrrr brrrrr brrrr! It’s definitely getting cold, well it’s kinda sorta been cold for awhile. Regardless, today I want to share with you some of my winter essentials!

Scarves a definite must have for me! I love scarves, big scarves, little scarves, furry scarves, you name it, I love it! I feel like they are not only a winter need but also a person accessory to any outfit.

Lip Balm

No body wants chapped, dry, flaking lips. Best way to avoid chapped lips in the cold temperatures of winter is to have an abundance of lip balm! I personally switch bags a lot and to avoid forgetting to carry lip balm, I have many to go into each bag. A bit crazy, I know.Β

Along with no one wanting dry lips, no one wants d dry skin. Avoid dry flaky skin by applying lotion everyday, once before getting ready, once after a shower and throughout the day whenever needed.

Tea & Hot Chocolate

Although I love tea year round, it definitely feels a little more special during the cold winter months. Grab yourself a favorite tea or try some new tea and then cozy up in a blanket with a nice movie or book. Along with tea, I really love hot chocolate because well, I love chocolate and because it’s super cozy!

Put away those tiny sweaters and leather jackets because they will not help in the freezing months of winter! Instead, grab yourself a thick coat that will keep you warm while you’re outside braving the cold.

What about you, what are your favorite winter essentials?!

      1. I swear to you! I’ve been so put off by lipgloss because they just are so sticky sometimes! I’ll definitely look around for some though and give them another go! You’ve inspired me! Haha πŸ€—

  1. I love winter ( and summer and spring and autumn) when winter is winter. Snow and cold.
This year we can saw global warming 😦
We had snow and everything in October and now… everthing green. For next week promisedΒ΄ minus 10C.. Lets see.
But still this is unfair, that in Istanbul is snowing and we have already spring 😦

  2. I always look forward to wearing my boots everywhere! Where I live in North Carolina, the window to wear boots is not too long so it’s always great! Tea and coffee are definitely essential, especially on gray days. I am trying to make a new tradition of baking bread to add that warm and cozy feeling inside the home. Haven’t tried it yet, but one of these days for sure!

    1. I definitely like the idea of making bread, mainly because I love bread but also because I do think it would make everything so cozy and wonderful! Thanks for sharing !!

  3. I loved having some hot chocolate with a little bit of coffee creamer and it’s so good keeping me warm. Watching a good movie on πŸ“Ί or show.
Don’t forget to wear your gloves when going out.

  4. I got this cheap, oversized, USA beanie from T.J. Maxx a few weeks ago and have been obsessed with it every since–even wearing it on days that aren’t as cold. πŸ™‚

As for at home, I agree with you that teas are a must-have, in addition to snuggling up under my electric blanket and reading. Pure happiness right there.

  5. Cream, cream and more cream for me. I have the WORST skin in the cold weather; my hands and toes especially, do NOT like it at all.
Lip balm is a must have for me, throughout the year!
Scarves are also a favourite of mine during the winter, I actually challenged myself not so long ago, to get them all out and wear a different one everyday! I did it and blogged about it during the challenge! πŸ˜€
