Hey there everyone, how are you all doing?! By the title of this post, I’m sure you can guess what this is about; I’ll be sharing some quotes and my take or opinion on the quotes. Please feel free to leave your own opinions and your own personal favorite quotes in the comment section below.
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” – Harriet Tubman
Everything we want to accomplish in life is often known as a dream. I’m not talking about the dreams we have while lying in bed all cuddled up, although I suppose you can dream of your life dream. Am I losing you here? ‘Cause I feel myself getting lost myself. Anyway, a dream is something we want to achieve, a goal we have for ourselves. Most people have dreams, something they long for, something they crave. With life occurrences, it’s often easy to lose track of dreams; however, if one recalls that within us we have the power to excel in life, all of our dreams can come true. Don’t forget you have the strength, the patience (although sometimes it may not seem like it) and the passion or drive to go after everything you want.
“Champions keep playing until they get it right.” -Billie Jean King
You want to be known as a champion right? I mean who doesn’t want to be known as someone that is at the top? The only way to get to the top, to be a champion, is to not give up…not give up on anything. Keep going until you get it right, keep going until you are the champion.
“Be where your feet are.” – Anonymous
This 5 word quote speaks at a higher volume to me than anyone could possibly imagine. My mind tends to run on about a million tangents sometimes, most times. I mean, I can be sitting in a room and one second I’m in the moment and just like that I’m thinking about the future, laundry, cleaning, cooking, the Praxis, should I or should I not go get my realtor license, and then I’ll skip to the past and have random flashbacks of being in the car on streets I’ve probably only visited once or flashbacks to times in high school. Basically, I think…I think way too much. My mind becomes drowned by a tidal wave of thoughts and all of a sudden I’m thinking of everything and nothing all that the same time. I need to embrace this quote, I need to keep my mind where my feet are, in the present. I need to not think or focus so much on the future and what will happen in years to come; just take life second by second, maybe even millisecond by millisecond will be more appropriate for myself.
That’s all for today. Once again, remember to share your own thoughts on these quotes and let me know your favorites in the comment section!
