How My Blog Started:

How I started…how I started…Welp, I’ve always kind of had a blog. Ever since I was 11-12 the blogging world intrigued me. At around 11-12 the popular site to be on was Tumblr, which I was on daily and quite obsessed with. Eventually I got over writing on Tumblr and decided to just reblog photos, which was still lots of fun but not the same as actually expressing my thoughts. After awhile I decided to get a Bloglovin’. I had a Bloglovin’ for a few months until I decided to give up on it figuring no one was reading it anyways. I deleted the account and moved on with my life. Last year I felt as though I needed a hobby, something to do that I really enjoyed…and well, that’s when I remembered blogging. I got a WordPress account and I was very determined to keep it going and write about things I truly enjoyed. Overall, I’ve been loving it! I love the community. I love the interaction I have with my followers. I love learning about what other people enjoy and I love finding out new posts and blogs!

Advice to New Bloggers:

I have two pieces of advice for new bloggers. The first piece of advice I want to share with new bloggers is that you should always and I mean always be true to yourself. Post content you are truly passionate about because if you just go with the crowd and you don’t really enjoy what you’re writing about it will definitely show in the content itself. Simply put, if you are interested in what you’re writing, it will show; if you are not interested in what you’re writing it will come out bland and rather boring. My other piece of advice for new bloggers is to go ahead and not be afraid to comment and like other people’s blog posts. If you really like what someone posted or how someone has written or taken photos, let them know!!! Trust me, they will love the recognition and it’s great publicity for your own blog because people will see your blog and be interested in checking it out.
