Easy Baking – Prosciutto Bread

Who doesn’t enjoy recipes that are easy to follow? Today I’m going to share with you a recipe from Food Network’s Easy Baking magazine.

You will need:

  • 1 11 ounce tube refrigerated bread dough
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 8 thin slices prosciutto
  • Extra virgin olive oil, for brushing

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Unroll the bread dough an sprinkle with pepper then cover with prosciutto and roll up the dough from the long side into a log
  3. Form the log into an 8 inch ring by pulling and twisting it
  4. Pinch the ends together
  5. Place the ring onto the prepared baking sheet and brush with olive oil then bake until golden, about 20 minutes
  6. Brush with more olive oil; bake 5 more minutes
  7. Remove from the oven and brush with more olive oil then let cool on the baking sheet
