What I’m Thankful For

Tis that time of year again where we gather all together and share the moment of being thankful. Today I want to share with you some of things I’m personally thankful for. I hope you join me in writing a blog post of things you’re thankful for.

My dog:

I’ve had my dog now for just over 3 years; I got her when she was two months old and I instantly fell in love with her. My dog makes me insanely happy because she’s always so cheerful to see me. I also love the way Riley, my dog, gets so excited for a walk, new toys and treats too. I love the way she cuddles up next to me and plays with her toys while moving her paws. I love how she comforts me when I’m sad and is happy for me and with me when I’m excited and thrilled. I’m very thankful for having Riley in my life.

My boyfriend:

I’ve been with my boyfriend for just over 11 months now! He’s truly amazing. We explore together visiting new cities and going on adventures. We also love to watch movies, shows and play games together. He makes me insanely happy and he’s there for me at my lowest and also there for me at my highest. He’s truly amazing and I’m so very grateful and thankful to have met someone so pleasant.

Family/Friends:

Not many people get to have such lovely humans in their life and I’m very thankful to have such a supporting group around me.

My Job:

I’m currently a substitute teacher who is studying to be a teacher. I love going into my job everyday and watching students learn, interact and figure out life for themselves. It’s not easy being a sub but it’s definitely a learning experience and therefore I am thankful.

Health:

I’m thankful to be alive, to be healthy and to be able to do everything I get to do.

Roof over my head:

I’m thankful that I am able to still live with my parents as I figure out my life and study. I am thankful for having a nice home to come home to everyday that has running water, gas and electricity.

You:

I am thankful for all of you who come to my blog and read my posts, like them and comment them. Thank you so much and thank you for stopping by.

  1. This is lovely, however, I am curious as to why the really pretty girl in almost every picture doesn’t have her own category. She seems really wonderful!

  2. This is really nice. Being thankful and being able to identify the things we’re thankful for, is such a great thing. It expresses such positive energy much needed especially in these broken times. I pray you continually have things to be thankful for and remain even more thankful all life long. All the best and more!
