Another month?! I can’t be the only one that feels like time is flying right on by! I look back and I am shocked by how quickly my summer has gone and how quickly it’s coming to an end. Well, we all know that another month gone means yet another monthly favorites, so below I have shared this months favorites.

Food

Starbucks Frappuccino

Lately I’ve been loving the Starbucks coffee Frappuccino’s that can be found at places like CVS and Quick Chek. These retail for about $3.50 – $4, however CVS often has them on sale for 2 for $4 which is when I tend to buy them. I’ve tried the vanilla, mocha and smores flavors. Even though I’ve enjoyed all of them, I must admit that the vanilla is by far my favorite. Regardless of these being one of my  favorites this month, I must admit I am a bit put off by the 45-46 grams of sugar in one single serving therefore although these were definitely a staple this month, I may be moving away from them.

Apps

Candy Crush

I must admit, I hopped on the Candy Crush boat a bit late but I really have been enjoying this game lately. I’ve recently reached level 140 and even though I am struggling to pass it, I am having fun trying it out.

Instagram

I’ve always loved Instagram but this month seeing everyone’s summer holiday photos really made me like it a little extra. If you’re curious and want to check out my own Instagram it’s beaaafreitas.

Snapchat

I’ve been using my snapchat a lot more this month with all the gatherings I’ve been to. Truth be told I always used snapchat a lot however with all these amazingly funny and weird filters I can’t help wanting to constantly do a face swap with the person next to me and posting it on my story. My snapchat is beaafreitas.

Pokemon Go

Yes, it’s true, I play Pokemon Go! When it first came out my boyfriend was constantly talking about it and always wanted to take a walk to see what he could find. Naturally, I would always go with him therefore I decided to get the game and see what all the fuss was about. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not obsessed and you will definitely not catch me walking in the middle of the night to catch a Gastly but the occasional trip to the park is definitely a thing  now.

Makeup 

ChapStick

Since I’ve been spending a lot of time in the sun, chapstick has been very important for my sunburnt/dry lips. I’m not particularly picky on the kind I use as a long as it works. Lately I’ve been reaching for the ChapStick – Cake Batter one which goes on very easily and is moisturizing however it is not very long-lasting. I’ve also been using Blistex –  Raspberry Lemonade Blast which smells and tastes divine and is extremely moisturizing. Others I use or have used are Nivea  – shimmer lip care, Nivea – a kiss of smoothness (which I don’t recommend because although it goes on very smooth and leaves your lips feeling lush, it quickly dries them out) and ChapStick – classic cherry.

Bourjois Paris Mascara

I have been absolutely loving the Bourjois Paris mascara effect push up volume glamour! This is by far, without a single doubt, the BEST mascara I have ever tried. The formula of the mascara itself is so smooth and creamy. The mascara extends your lashes and makes them look so much fuller. I can honestly say this mascara is perfection!

Miscellaneous

Redecorating

So this month I’ve dedicated much of my time to repainting, redesigning and redecorating my basement. I must admit, although it was very time consuming the reward of having a beautiful and stylish basment is definitely worth all the sweat and hard work. I’ve gone for a color scheme of grays and dark chocolates. The walls are pearl gray and one wall is granite gray. The brand new L shaped sofa is a dark chocolate which compliments the newly stained dark cabinet and bookshelf. Check out my Hobby Lobby Haul blog post to see some of the new decorations I got.
