Hair Care Routine

Hair! Most of us have it whether it’s short or long, curly or sleek straight we have to deal with it and we have to find some way to keep it nice and tamed. Today I share with you my daily hair care routine.

First things first, the kind of hair I have. I tend to have very straight hair that gets oily if I do not wash it every single day. I’m a bit envious of the people that can go 1, 2 if not 3 days without washing it because I certainly can not do that without it looking like there was an oil spill on the top of my head. Since I am washing my hair everyday, I try to make sure I have a shampoo and conditioner that works well for my hair. Throughout the years, I have found that my favorite shampoo that is most affective is the TRESemme Anti-Breakage shampoo and conditioner. Once I am out the shower, I pat dry my hair with the towel and then take a coin size amount of the HASK argan oil and spread it throughout my hair, focusing mainly on my ends. Once I’ve applied that I will brush my hair and let it air dry. If I am in a rush and need my hair dry I will blow dry it and once I am done blow drying it I will apply the John Frieda Frizz Ease, which I’ve mentioned in one of my favorites posts. I also use the John Frieda Frizz Ease after straightening my hair.

Well, that’s basically it! I know it’s pretty boring but I find keeping it simple is the best way to go. If you have any products you’d like to share with me please do it in the comments! I would love to test them out and see what I think.

  1. I’m currently using Aveda’s Invati range to help thicken hair. I also love, love, love Oleo Radiance range by Tresemme! X

  2. Enjoyed reading through your hair routine. 🙂

I remember when I first started washing my hair every other day, that my scalp would look like you’re saying- a greaseball. However, for the past two years I have been washing my hair about every 2-3 days. Instead of using dry shampoo, I actually just use baby powder to absorbs some of the oil in my scalp, and it helps bunches.

Definitely gonna have to try that Frizz Ease though! Thanks for sharing girl!

  3. Loved this post, mine hair is naturally curly and I’ve always loved Tresseme, always leaves my hair soft and clean feeling like I’ve just been to the hairdresser’s! I haven’t tried Frizz Ease but it definitely seems like one to look out for! 🙂
