March Favorites

I constantly watch YouTubers and read blog posts about people’s “favorites” of the month which only lead me to ponder, what are my favorites? What do I enjoy so much in a month that I catch myself constantly doing or using? Well after pondering, I quickly realized that I had a massive list of things that I should probably shorten and so I did. Below is a list of 5 things I enjoyed most during this month of March.

  1. Yoga
As previously mentioned in my Get Fit blog post, yoga is a type of exercise that is very beneficial for the body and mind. Not only does yoga allow you to try out different breathing techniques, stretch and relax, it also eases the mind, strengthens the body and tones. During this month I found myself eager to do my yoga practices everyday. The best part about my sessions is that they take place in the comfort of my own home where no one can see me being unstable, tumble or even fall. After one session of Yoga With Adriene I am immediately feeling much more awake, relaxed and motivated. If I were you, I would definitely hop on over to Adriene’s YouTube channel and check out her videos. While you’re over there, you may even want to challenge yourself to the 30 day yoga camp, which is what I just recently finished. The yoga camp goes day by day and slowly builds up to slightly more difficult poses that thoroughly stretch and strength the whole body.IMG_2271
  2. Coconut Passion Fragrance Mist
About 8 or 9 years ago I was strolling through the mall and came across Victoria Secret, I decided to step on inside and take a look. As I was walking past the fragrance section, I couldn’t help but take a whiff of the items around me, that’s when I came across this lovely product. This product is definitely my go to scent, it is warm and inviting and doesn’t give you a headache like perfumes tend to do. I’ve gotten many many compliments when I wear this fragrance and in fact, my best friend now wears it too because she too fell in love with it. The scent is my absolute favorite and it is extremely affordable at only $14! Although, since Victoria Secret tends to often have sales on their lotions, creams and fragrances often times you can get 3 for $30 or other deals such as that. I would definitely recommend this smell for anyone who likes vanilla and coconut or anyone looking for a nice fresh yet cozy fragrance.
  3. Tone Body Wash, Mango Splash Cocoa Butter & Papaya
Personally, I prefer body wash as opposed to soap bars when it comes to showering. I recently tried this Tone Body Wash which is absolutely amazing! The body wash is extremely moisturizing, soft on the skin and leaves it smelling absolutely amazing! I am very happy with this product because it makes me feel so fresh and lovely after my shower.
  4. Johnson’s baby lotion; Shea & Cocoa Butter
I know what you’re thinking, a baby lotion? Certainly you’re no baby if you are capable of writing a blog. Well, you’re right, I’m not, but I have used baby lotion my whole life. I find that baby lotion keeps your skin very soft and soothes dry skin, giving you a radiant moisturized glow. I personally like the scent of the cocoa butter one but there are other scents available.
  5. Hask Argan Oil
Argan oil is known to be good for the skin and hair, this Hask Argan oil is a healing shine hair treatment. What you do is get out of the shower with wet hair and apply a coin-zied amount evenly through hair and then style as you normally would. You may also use this product on dry hair, but I tend to always use it fresh out the shower. I find that this product makes my hair instantly smoother, which allows me to easily brush my comb through my hair without getting any tangles. I also find that this product makes my hair shiny and healthy. One great feature about this product is that it comes in very small containers, so you can pop into the store get a small one and try it out to see if it suits you or not.

Those are 5 of my March Favorites, hopefully you go out and try these out for yourself and love them just as much as I do! What were your March Favorites?
